Calling on many years of experience working at some of the country's most prestigious historic sites including The Tower of London, Dover Castle and Hampton Court, our aim is to portray the background and atmosphere of any particular period  to provide an introduction that will complement students' studies at all levels of the  curriculum.

Living History offers an immersive and interactive educational experience for all.

Moving Forward.

Living History Hatfield has over years  on occasion taken either Henry VIII or Elizabeth I out to individual schools. We concentrated on this aspect during the period of uncertainty caused by the Corona pandemic it has proved remarkably succesful. Following  the removal of a number of ancillary attractions such as the farm and the adventure playground at Hatfield House  we no longer feel that we are able to offer a well rounded day's visit to Hatfield. We will from now on be concentrating on  visiting schools.

This change means that we are better able to concentrate on the aspects of the subject that you are particularly studying and that we have more time to explore them and a freedom to develop any avenues that the pupils may suggest. We are also able to makethem more interactive.

We have also now, freed from the confines of the Tudor palace introduced workshops in support of study of the Medieval period.
